From Justin: Meeting Michael Jackson
I'll be on tour when you read this so I shall have found out whether the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is life-size, as one of my pals insists it is, or perhaps even larger, because everything is bigger in the U.S.A. One thing is for sure though, we are going to have some fun, and it will be great to be back with the gang again.
The Imax Amazing Caves project is finished now, and I hope it leads to others of the same kind. Who knows, Imax today, Disney tomorrow. I am still waiting to see the picture with the music and we will be hunting for an Imax theatre between traveling to gigs in the next five weeks. I'm very excited about another collaboration I'm working on at the moment, more of which as soon as possible.
I was thrilled a couple of weeks ago to meet Michael Jackson {no I'm not collaborating with him! not yet anyway} and I'm glad to say that he really likes our music and was utterly charming, very gentle and interested in others. We met at my friend Uri Geller's wedding when Uri and Hanna renewed their vows after thirty years, in the Jewish faith. It was a great day and I was able to meet up again with the likes of Sir David Frost , Nigel Mansell the racing driver, Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, and James Whale the chat show host and broadcaster. A fun day was had by all.
There are a couple of TV programs in which the Moodies feature that are worth noting. One is the Top Ten Progressive Rock Bands, of which we were placed No. 3. Broadcast on Channel Four, it was a lighthearted look at the cosmic rock era of the 60's and 70's and included some never before seen {by me at least} footage of the band. Another is the TV series about classic songs of which one is Nights. I also did an interview in a TV documentary tribute about Marty Wilde and there is also great old film in that too. It airs in the Summer.
Well I'd better get the fingers and voice aired up and Book forward to seeing some of you on the tour.
Lots of Love,
Justin
