Update from Justin
It’s been a wonderful year on the road, for me, for Mike, Julie, and Karmen, along with Josh (great to hear him play with us - it leaves me free for my beloved 335), Steve and Geoff. And it means the world to us to be given the opportunity to play in such lovely venues and we can never thank everyone enough who came to see our show and share these precious times with us. We are always trying to do something original and fresh, and to be able to share these songs, true to the spirit in which they were written, is a joy. The songs, and an audience that brings that sprinkle of stardust to the music every night, lift us to a truly ethereal place.
You can tell, I love the show we are doing ( as a guitar player and a singer - Julie’s voice with mine gives me thrill every night), for all of us these evenings are special, and worth every hard mile. I’m in awe and truly grateful to all the fans who make the journey along-side us. YOU make it all so absolutely worth it. Long may we continue, in love, together.

I’m very happy to hear about the ‘blue plaque’ on the wall of the building that used to be the Threshold office and ‘record’ shop - I think it is an honour. And from what I have seen it’s a very nice thing indeed and a lovely gesture from the town. I consider it a kindness to us, and to all the Moodies families, friends and fans alike - as well as being important to anyone who is interested in music history.
The latest tour didn’t actually end for me in Detroit as I was doing a ‘turn’ at an event in London at the weekend. Thankfully, Andonis and I managed to blag my big old McPherson 12 string in to the cabin on two flights coming back to the UK. And it was sure worth it - that guitar is tremendous. All my other guitars are on their way to Alberto’s and I’ll be giving them my love and attention in the next few days.
And I’ll be seeing you in ’25.

Love,
Justin
